The Lowly Lifted Up

As holiday celebrations draw near, it is easy for us to get weighed down by gifts that aren't perfect, and gatherings that don't go as planned, year-end goals that have no hope of being met, we are humbled. If this time of year stretches you to your limits, that's not necessarily bad. It is okay to be made painfully aware of our shortcomings. Being made aware of our weaknesses does not disqualify us from God’s care. It does the opposite. It prepares us for the work he does best. He is a God who lifts up the lowly.
